These Terms and Conditions govern your use of jwonyen.com and any purchase you make from it. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

jwonyen.com is the official online store of J. Wonyen (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at info@jwonyen.com or through our contact page.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the payment method used is yours or that you have authorisation to use it.

3. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to display our garments accurately. Colours, textures and finishes may appear slightly different on your screen depending on your device and its settings. Our pieces are handmade in limited quantities, so minor variations in beadwork, print placement, dye and stitching are natural characteristics of the craft rather than defects.

Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue any item, or refuse an order.

4. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.
• Prices exclude shipping, duties and import taxes, which are shown or explained separately.
• We may change prices at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
• Payment is taken in full at the time of order.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund, whether or not payment has been taken.

5. Orders and Acceptance

An order confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the item or confirm production of a bespoke piece. We may decline an order where the item is unavailable, where payment could not be authorised, where we suspect fraud, or where a pricing or description error has occurred.

6. Made-to-Measure and Bespoke Orders

For custom pieces, you are responsible for supplying accurate measurements and confirming design details before production begins. Once production has started, changes may not be possible. Bespoke items are final sale, as set out in our Refund Policy.

7. Shipping and Returns

Delivery timelines, costs and customs charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Return eligibility, exclusions and refund timelines are set out in our Refund Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

8. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, garment patterns, photographs, illustrations, text, graphics, logos and the J. Wonyen name, is our property or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or use any of it commercially without our prior written permission. Reproducing our garment designs for manufacture or resale is strictly prohibited.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this website to transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content in bulk, interfere with its operation, or do anything unlawful. We may restrict or terminate access to anyone breaching this section.

11. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Any dealings with them are solely between you and that third party.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, J. Wonyen is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or from any product purchased, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of data. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify J. Wonyen against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the website.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, carrier disruption, war, epidemics, or failure of utilities or telecommunications.

15. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the location of our registered business, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
